Healing is a journey, don't walk it alone
COUNSELING SERVICES
Welcome, I am sure there are a ton of feelings, emotions, and challenges that you are facing during the current public health issues. I am here to offer you support. I can only imagine how difficult these times must be. I can work with you as we learn techniques and interventions to manage through these very difficult times.
WALK & TALK THERAPY
BURN OFF THE STRESS
I now offer “walk and talk” sessions. These are sessions that take advantage of my very private and tranquil community to have a supportive dialogue as we walk (1.2 miles) through a relaxing wooded trail, oversee a calming pond and burn off a little bit of stress.
telehealth therapy
Currently offering telehealth therapy. Call (617)943-0409 to schedule an appointment.

George Haywood, LICSW
I started my clinical journey in 2010 when I earned my MSW at Bridgewater State University. I have previously worked at DCF, DYS, Mass Trial Courts as a Juvenile Probation Officer, CCBC as a crisis worker, North Shore Childrens Hospital, Bournwood Hospital , and Volunteers of America as a Clinical Director. I have also co-facilitated groups at Mass Treatment Center and Nurturing Fathers. These exciting experiences over the past 30 years have broadened my knowledge and understanding of several demographics and cultures in the community.
I specialize in working with older teenagers and adults facing depression and anxiety , unhealthy relationships and general day to day stress . I employ a compassionate and supportive approach through the lens of a cognitive behaviorist . Together we learn to disengage the triggers and seek a healthy solution to the issues.
